Stucco and Plaster

Stucco is a thin cement plaster overlay for coating exterior walls and other exterior surfaces of buildings. Stucco relies on an excellent bond to the receiving surface. Nycon synthetic reinforcing fibers are added to the base coat to improve the bond and reduce stucco's propensity for cracking, caused by rapid drying or thermal-moisture variations. Nycon-modified stucco can be hand or gun applied.

The following Nycon fibers are ideal for reinforcement for stucco and plaster applications:

ConTrol2000: Nycon's premium nylon reinforcing fiber for use with traditional stucco, one-coat stucco, shotcrete applications, repair mortars, and pre-blended products.

ConTrol+: An ideal reinforcement for architectural, ornamental, and colorized concrete applications.

AR Glass Fibers: Nycon AR (alkali-resistant) glass fibers enhance the lifespan and serviceability of concrete flatwork, precast products, architectural/decorative surfaces, and ornamental cementitious products.
