DESCRIPTION
NYCON-XL is a leading fibrillated macro for sustainable, structurally enhanced concrete products.

NYCON-XL fiber products are fibrillated polyolefin/PP fibers for use in fiber reinforced concrete, stucco and shotcrete. NYCON-XL is specifically designed for use in concrete products for the purpose of providing post-crack strength.

NYCON-XL meets the requirements of ASTM C-1116 and ASTM C-1399.

APPLICATIONS
NYCON-XL utilizes the mixing activity to disperse the fibers into the mix. NYCON-XL acts with a mechanical bond in the concrete with a multi-dimensional, fibrillated fiber network. NYCON-XL does not affect curing process chemically.

NYCON-XL can be used in all types of concrete. Fibrillated macro fibers improve resistance to cracking and offer post-crack strength.

NYCON-XL used in shotcrete applications will increase the compaction and density of shotcrete, reducing rebound and permitting thicker layers per pass.
