DESCRIPTION
Nycon-XL-M monofilament micro-macro fibers are a high-dose, medium denier fibers for thin and superior finish macro applications.

NYCON-XL-M fiber products are medium denier (8d) monofilament, high-performance micro-macro fibers for use in fiber reinforced concrete, stucco and shotcrete. NYCON-XL-M is specifically designed for use in concrete products for the purpose of controlling plastic shrinkage, thermal cracking, and post crack issues.

NYCON-XL-M meets the requirements of ASTM C-1116, Section 4.1.3, AC-32 at 1lb (0.45 kg) per CY, and ASTM C-1399 at required doses.

APPLICATIONS
NYCON-XL-M utilizes the mixing activity to disperse the fibers into the mix. NYCON-XL-M acts with an aggressive mechanical bond in the concrete with a multi-dimensional fiber network. NYCON-XL-M does not affect curing process chemically.

NYCON-XL-M can be used in all types of concrete. Synthetic fibers help the concrete at early ages, which is especially beneficial where stripping time and handling is important.

NYCON-XL-M used in shotcrete applications will increase the compaction and density of shotcrete, reducing rebound and permitting thicker layers per pass.
