Nycon-G-TURF is a 12-denier reclaimed nylon monofilament fiber that offers reinforcement to hydroseeding and soil reinforcement projects.

DESCRIPTION
Hydro seeding is a popular means of planting grass due to its relative ease of use, rapid application, and effectiveness. Hydro seeding is a process by which grass seed, fertilizer, fiber, processed mulch, tackifier and water are blended together in an applicator tank, mixed and applied via a controlled spray onto a prepared lawn area. Once sprayed, the wet mass of mulch and fiber will help create a bond to the soil and to itself and provide the grass seed with a water-retaining coat while protecting it from sunlight, wind, and erosion.

Soil reinforcement or stabilization is enhanced with the blending of synthetic fibers to the soil matrix. NYCON-G-TURF offers a cost effective reinforcement for such projects.

APPLICATIONS
NYCON-G-TURF dosing rates for hydroseed applications with slopes of2.0 are up to 40 pounds of fiber per acre.

NYCON-G-TURF dosing rates for soil reinforcement or stabilization applications can vary from 6 lb/cy of soil to 12 lb/cy of soil.
