NYCON-MULTIMESH is an 8-denier virgin nylon monofilament fiber that offers reduced dose per cubic yard while providing plastic shrinkage crack control and superior finish.

DESCRIPTION
NYCON-MULTIMESH GRAY fiber products are 8 denier, monofilament nylon fibers for use in fiber reinforced concrete, stucco and shotcrete. NYCON-MULTIMESH is specifically designed for use in concrete products for the purpose of controlling plastic shrinkage and thermal cracking.

NYCON-MULTIMESH GRAY meets the requirements of ASTM C-1116, Section 4.1.3 and AC-32 at 1.0 lb (0.45 kg) per CY. MULTIMESH has completed ICC-ES evaluation as reported in ER 5460.

APPLICATIONS
NYCON-MULTIMESH GRAY utilizes the mixing activity to disperse the fibers into the mix. NYCON-MULTIMESH acts with a surface bond in the concrete with a multi-dimensional fiber network. NYCON-MULTIMESH GRAY does not affect curing process chemically.

NYCON-MULTIMESH GRAY can be used in all types of concrete. Synthetic fibers help the concrete at early ages, which is especially beneficial where stripping time and handling is important.

NYCON-MULTIMESH GRAY used in shotcrete applications will increase the compaction and density of shotcrete, reducing rebound and permitting thicker layers per pass.
