Description

The Doser dispensing systems are designed specially for operation in a concrete environment, using low maintenance components already available in the industry. Unlike volumetric and fluid-delivery dispensers, Nycon Dosers utilize air-driven, dry-process technology that calculates and dispenses dosages via weight sensors. They contain a surge bin/hopper. The bottom of the surge bin is a flat-top conveyor with flights. The flights push out a small amount of fibers from the bottom of the hopper onto a chute that transports the fibers down to a weight hopper or an air injector (depending on Doser type). After the fibers are scaled, they drop into an injector. The injector is designed specially in order to blow the fibers through the pipe, to create a vacuum that sucks the fibers into the air stream and to separate the fibers.

With the DoserMax and DoserMan models, the operator controls the required amount of fibers to be dispensed into the concrete truck or concrete mixer via a control panel integrated into existing batch control systems.
