Q: If AR-glass is such a great reinforcement, why hasn't it been sold in the U.S. before now?

AR-glass fibers were developed for use in glass-fiber-reinforced concrete at very high dosages. Until now, no technical data existed which proved that AR-glass at low dosages were also a good solution for concrete reinforcement. Recent research and testing conducted by Nycon Inc. demonstrates that AR-glass fibers offer significantly improved properties in concrete for a number of applications.
