KURALON RECS100 PVA Fibers for Long-Term Crack Control and Anti-Spalling Reinforcement
KURALON RECS100 PVA reinforcing fibers are designed to provide superior long-term crack control and spalling prevention in concrete applications. In slabs and other flatwork, they also eliminate the need for wire mesh for crack reduction, and thus reduce labor, time, and material costs while producing a higher quality concrete. The unmatched molecular bond strength of
KURALON RECS 100 PVA fibers with concrete makes them extremely effective crack-fighters. This high bond strength eliminates the need for longer fibers, making mixing easier and with less impact on slump.
Drying shrinkage ring tests demonstrate the ability of KURALON RECS100 fibers to eliminate the need for wire mesh in controlling cracks--in 28 day tests, KURALON RECS100 outperformed all other fibers by 30% in restraining the growth of cracks.
